QuestG Announces A Peer Collaborative Project on The Next Generation Worker: How to Attract, Develop, and Retain.

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. -- The Next Generation Worker has already arrived - with new attitudes, sense of leadership, and disruptive technologies and expectations of management. On a foundation of critical findings in QuestG's 2007 investigation of the Media-Savvy Workforce and Learning, QuestG now offers a 90-day Next Generation Peer Action Group that will collectively explore the implications of, and identify actions to gain competitive advantage with, a new workforce.

and HR Executives. This collaborative project requires minimum personal time commitment. Participants will explore Next Gen attraction, development, retention, and related business challenges using a collaborative process and tools.

According to Algis Leveckis, President and Co-Founder of QuestG, "Few companies have connected with this new segment, many companies alienate - rather than engage - by continuing with traditional management processes and development programs that the Media-Savvy and Next Generation populations see as low value."

"With talent shortages looming, we need to stop force fitting and start rethinking: How does this next generation of leadership engage? What is missing from corporate programs, processes, and structure that would accelerate their performance?" says Jay Wagman. "How can companies leverage the unique skills (and overcome the challenges) that exist in this strikingly unique demographic?"

HR Executives and CLOs are invited to join peers to explore what new actions must be taken to maximize the performance impact of the Next Generation Worker: On-boarding in virtual worlds? Early identification of high potentials? Peer and interactive development programs? New collaborative management processes? Internet applications, like social networks and IM, for teamwork?
