:QNCM) Wednesday announced that it has acquired 100% of Delru/Rigi-Flex Inc., Anaheim, in an exchange for cash.

The Quantum board of directors approved the asset purchase with a stated value Stated Value

A value that, instead of being par value, is assigned to a corporation's stock for accounting purposes. Stated value has no relation to market price.

Rigid-Flex will manufacture a micro-strip antenna for Quantum's patented Phase Control Array technology for mobile communication applications, including cellular telephone and wireless data systems.

Thomas Wilkerson, director of Quantum, stated, "The acquisition of Rigid-Flex will not only provide us with a manufacturing capability but our potential customer base will now include military and aerospace applications for the new Phase Control Array antenna technology."
