They are headquartered in Newbury, Berkshire. , a UK-based company has selected the MySQL (MY SQL) Pronounced "my S-Q-L" or "my-see-quill," it is a very popular open source, relational DBMS from MySQL AB, Uppsala, Sweden (www.mysql.com) that runs under various versions of Unix and Windows and Mac.  database server as a critical component in its 'Enterprise sQ' product line.

In the highly-competitive broadcasting industry, improving time-to-air for important news enhances prestige as well as the financial bottom line.
