 logic devices -- 16-bit and 32-bit.

The family of five new industry standard 16-bit logic devices are all pin and function compatible with Texas Instruments' Widebus family of products, as well as 16-bit logic families from other manufacturers. This family -- the QS74FCT16240, 244, 245, 373 and 374, includes 16-bit buffers, transceivers, latches and registers, and is now available in full production quantities. These new devices complement QSI's existing 16-bit logic family. "For the highest performance application requiring the smallest possible logic footprint, QSI's QVSOP MultiWidth logic has been a popular solution," commented Kris Jones, Product Marketing Manager.  pinout and sockets where footprint is not a concern."

The new family of 32-bit logic devices includes buffers, transceivers, latches, registers and one QuickSwitch Bus Switch. QSI has made the new 32-bit devices available in an all new proprietary small-footprint 80-pin MillipaQ package. There are significant advantages to the new MillipaQ package. Ms. Jones further commented, "The new family of 32-bit logic devices provides the user with the fastest logic in the smallest footprint available today. This not only reduces board space, but improves system performance significantly. Also, its low inductance provides low noise, and its low thermal resistance improves overall reliability." The new devices are available in either tubes or tape and reel for automated assembly processes.

Quality Semiconductor, Inc. designs, develops and markets high-performance 32-volt and 5-volt logic, specialty memory products, analog devices Analog Devices (NYSE: ADI) is an American multinational producer of semiconductor devices. Analog specializes in ADC, DAC, MEMS, and DSP chips for consumer and industrial goods.
