QuadraMed Awarded Enterprise Healthcare Information System Contract by Wilkes Regional Medical Center.

RESTON, Va. -- QuadraMed(R) Corporation (Amex:QD) today announced that Wilkes Regional Medical Center, North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, has awarded the company a multi-year contract to implement the full line of QuadraMed's healthcare information system (HIS) solutions. The implementation of QuadraMed's solutions will enable Wilkes Regional, a 120-bed acute care facility, to deploy a comprehensive EHR (Electronic Health Record) for its patients.

When fully implemented, the Wilkes Regional healthcare information system will feature QuadraMed's laboratory information system (LIS) and QuadraMed's radiology/PACS offerings, along with the Affinity(R) HIS, Quantim(R) health information management (HIM), and TempusOne(R) enterprise scheduling products. Advanced patient care technology using QuadraMed's CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry) solution will provide increased patient safety and help streamline the care process.
