Their primary business has been development of a prepaid phone card system and network using custom vending machines to secure, document, and distribute cards. IPS has also deployed an ATM processor for non-bank environments, and is interested in pursuing expansion of their vending machine product for the sale of prepaid cellular phones and time-renewal cards. Negotiations are currently underway by IPS with multiple manufacturers of the custom vending machines for initial deployment within the Southwest. Preliminary discussions have also been held with the developer of a prepaid cell phone and related back-office management system. QuadraComm management stated that this first successful closure will allow the Company to proceed as planned with the other business-unit acquisitions in process. It is anticipated that the initial four mergers previously announced will be finalized before the end of the First Quarter.
