QinetiQ North America Appoints Kimberly Rupert to Head Contracts and Procurement.

MCLEAN, Va. -- QinetiQ North America (QNA) announced today that Kimberly S. Rupert has been appointed senior vice president of contracts and procurement. In this capacity, Rupert will oversee QNA's contract and procurement policies, compliance, pricing, and supplier management efforts.

"Kim brings to QNA significant top-tier contract and procurement expertise in key business areas like intelligence and technology that are mainstays of our suite of innovative products and services," said Duane Andrews, CEO, QinetiQ North America. "Her experience in contract compliance, management and negotiations will play a prominent role in QNA's continued aggressive growth strategy."

Rupert boasts nearly fifteen years' experience in contracts administration and procurement, having served in several positions of progressively greater responsibility at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). There, she was tasked with developing and administering multiple high value contracts that generated significant revenue for the company.

Rupert earned a BA from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. She completed a graduate certificate in government contracting at George Washington University and is also a certified federal contracts manager (CFCM).
