:QAN.), the world's leading long distance airline, has selected SNAP2 Games for use with their in-flight entertainment (IFE Ife (ē`fā), city (1991 est. pop. 262,000), SW Nigeria. Located in a farm region, the city is an important center for marketing and shipping cacao. According to tradition, Ife is the oldest Yoruba town (founded c.1300). ) service. Qantas Airways will install the SNAP2 Games suite on its aircraft equipped with the Rockwell Collins Passenger Systems state-of-the-art IFE, Total Entertainment System (TES). The Qantas Airways contract increases the total number of aircraft using SNAP2 Games to 269 making the games available to over 24 million passengers per year.

The SNAP2 Games suite is made up of popular board, card, arcade, and children's games for single and multiplayer use on interactive television set-top boxes, Internet appliances, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems. The Games suite currently contains 17 games in 9 international languages (English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai) and is available in Java(TM) and C language implementations. SNAP2 Games are currently flying on major airlines around the world and are commercially available for use in interactive television set-top boxes and other embedded consumer devices.

Qantas Airways is launching SNAP2 games on their wide body aircraft with a deployment totaling 24 aircraft in 2001. Qantas will deploy the following 10 SNAP2 Games in a combination of 8 international languages:
