QUICKTURN SYSTEMS PROMOTES KATHRYN MOORE; ANNOUNCES NEW SALES AND SUPPORT OFFICES

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Kathryn D. Moore has been promoted to Southwest area sales manager for Quickturn Systems Inc., reporting to Steve Butler, Quickturn's vice president of sales. The announcement was made by Keith Lobo, president and chief executive officer of the company, who also announced the opening of two new Quickturn offices.
According to Lobo, "Market response to the Enterprise Emulation System(TM) has led to the division of the growing Western area sales region into two segments -- Northwestern and Southwestern. We have also recently opened two new U.S. offices: a full sales and support office in New Jersey, and a support center in Austin, Texas."
Butler added, "Along with the formation of the new sales areas and Kathryn's promotion, Sheila Holland, previously sales manager of the Western area, is now sales manager of the Northwestern area, covering Northern California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Moore's area will encompass Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Both managers will be based in the Quickturn Systems headquarters office in Mountain View.
Moore, 29, was the first Western area account manager hired into Quickturn Systems. Before coming to Quickturn, she worked in major accounts for Daisy Systems, Mountain View. Prior to that, she was a design engineer for Rockwell International in Richardson, Texas. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Kathryn holds a BSEE degree from Texas A&M.
Quickturn Systems Inc. is the pioneer of computer-aided prototyping and developer of the world's first reprogrammable "IC and system emulation" products. Quickturn's emulation systems enable design verification for systems using ASICs and full-custom chips, thereby reducing project risk, lowering development costs and shortening time to market.
