QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), the leader in mobile communications for the transportation industry, today announced agreements with 11 of the nation's top truckload carriers to use the OmniTRACS(R) mobile communications system, signaling a continued commitment by QUALCOMM to provide the highest value, secure wireless fleet management solutions. Since the beginning of fiscal year 2002, QUALCOMM has signed truckload customers Van Wyck, Florida Express, WH Transportation, Dart Trucking, Interstate Carriers, and Zenith Freight. In addition, QUALCOMM has renewed existing OmniTRACS contracts with Swift Transportation (SWFT), System TWT, Manfredi Motor Transit, Oliver Trucking and Millis Transfer.
