QUALCOMM, Access Bring i-mode to MSM Chipsets.Tokyo, Japan, July 29, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - QUALCOMM of the US and Access announced that Access's i-mode Global Profile, a profile in Access's NetFront Mobile Client Suite, will be supported on QUALCOMM's Mobile Station Modem (MSM MSM - Micronetics Standard MUMPS ) chipset solutions. The two partners are working together to optimize and port Access's i-mode Global Profile solution to selected MSM chipsets. The i-mode solution will be embedded Inserted into. See embedded system. onto QUALCOMM's Open BREWapi software. Support for the solution will initially be available on the MSM6250 chipset, part of QUALCOMM's Multimedia Platform of single-chip solutions that deliver engaging multimedia devices and applications. Other chips in the Multimedia and Enhanced Multimedia Platforms are also scheduled to support i-mode.
