QMS now offers the QMS 2425 Print System for $4,199 and the QMS 2425 EX Print System for $5,499. The QMS 2425 Print System family offers business and graphic arts users high speed, high resolution printing with advanced paper handling capabilities and extensive networking features. The new pricing is effective immediately.

Based on QMS' proven Crown Technology, the QMS 2425 EX offers business and graphic arts professionals 1200 dots-per-inch (dpi), large format printing capabilities at 24 pages-per-minute (ppm) with advanced paper handling options and extensive network connectivity. QMS Crown Technology also offers exceptional multiple original print ("mopy") capability and printer-based collation to maximize workflow efficiency in busy networked environments. A feature which further enhances this capability is the QMS Stackler (stacker and stapler), which collates and staples a wide variety of paper sizes with multiple options for staple positioning. Powered by an ultra-fast NEC VR4300 100 MHz processor, this new offering provides unparalleled networked printing quality and speed.

Designed for ease-of-use and high performance in networked business and graphic arts printing applications, the QMS 2425 can quickly process the most complex image files. In addition, the QMS 2425 offers network administrators access to a wide variety of printer management tools, including the GUI-based QMS CrownAdmin, and extensive printer utilization statistics and accounting data via QMS printer-based accounting software.

The QMS 2425 can be equipped with up to 1000 sheets of paper input, and a 2,000 sheet output Stackler for production-level printing applications. The QMS 2425 also has an optional duplexer and offers a wide variety of paper handling capabilities, printing on up to 11.7"x17.7" pages.

The QMS 2425 is also offered in an ImageServer Print System configuration, providing image-enabled network printing for document imaging and client/server environments. The QMS 2425 ImageServer Print System is able to decompress image files on the printer, generating output near rated engine speed. The QMS ImageServer Print Systems can process most image file formats, including bi-level CCITT Group 3 and 4 compressed TIFF and CALS Raster; PostScript Level 2/CCITT and QMS high-performance CCITT Group 3 and Group 4. Integrating the QMS 2425 ImageServer Print System into a document imaging system eliminates the need for a dedicated imaging PC server, further reducing total printing costs.

QMS Enterprise Printing Solutions

QMS QFORM forms printing software allows users to easily print and manage on-demand electronic forms from QMS cut-sheet laser printers.
