The attackers are growing in organization and hostility. With the DHS Emerging Security Forum, the U.S. Government is building relationships with innovative security technology companies that can help defend against these threats with new, scalable products that address a variety of platforms, including hardware, software and networks.

"One of the goals of the Cyber Security R&D Center is to identify and support emerging security technologies being developed in the private sector. The Emerging Security Technology Forum is our first event that brings vendors and government representatives together to learn about government needs and the technology solutions that may be available to meet those needs," said Douglas Maughan, Cyber Security Program Manager at the Homeland Security Noun 1. QRadar is a comprehensive security platform that provides organizations with a single security architecture combining the functionality of network flow analysis, anomaly detection An approach to intrusion detection that establishes a baseline model of behavior for users and components in a computer system or network. Deviations from the baseline cause alerts that direct the attention of human operators to the anomalies. See IDS and anomaly. , event management, and threat remediation into one product. QRadar profiles the behavior of systems, applications and users, learning normal patterns and immediately recognizing anomalies, whether they originate from security breaches, internal network misuse and compliance violations, or operational inefficiencies. QRadar's event correlation Event Correlation is the processes involved with reducing a large number of incident alerts to a much smaller, more manageable number within automated monitoring and incident/problem management in a Support Management System.  capabilities bring together firewall and IDS/IPS events with network flow activity. The QRadar-ICX(TM) module resolves problems with a range of automated options by Isolating, Containing and eXtinguishing any type of network misuse, stopping malicious activity cold while recognizing routine activity so regular business is not interrupted.

"Q1 Labs is honored to take part in such an important forum," said Jim Charlton Jim Charlton (born July 26, 1911) was a Canadian coin dealer and numismatic publisher.
