Q-STEAKS, INC. ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGES



MINNEAPOLIS, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Q-Steaks, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSTK), which operates nine Minnesota Steakhouse and Timber Lodge Steakhouse restaurants, announced today that Doron R. Jensen has resigned as President, Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

 and Treasurer to pursue other interests. Mr. Jensen remains an employee of the Company, active in the marketing area. Mr. Jensen also remains a director of the Company and is expected to be re-elected as a director at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held next week.

Mr. Jensen stated, "The Company has expanded its operations to nine steakhouse restaurants. Although I am proud of the accomplishments that we have made during my tenure as President and Chief Operating Officer, it is time in my life to move on to other interests. I remain excited about the Company and its prospects, and look forward to an on-going relationship with the Company."

Dermot Rowland, Chief Executive Officer, stated, "Although we will miss Doron and the contributions he has made as President and Chief Operating Officer, we are pleased that he has agreed to continue to assist us in our marketing efforts and has agreed to remain on the Company's Board of Directors. We wish him the best of luck in his new endeavors."

Q-Steaks operates three Timber Lodge Steakhouse restaurants located in upstate New York Upstate New York is the region of New York State north of the core of the New York metropolitan area. Were it an independent state, it would be ranked 13th by population.  and Sioux Falls, South Dakota Sioux Falls (IPA: [su fɑlz]) is the largest city in the U.S. state of South Dakota, and the county seat of Minnehaha County.GR6 The 2007 city population is 148,000. , and operates six Minnesota Steakhouse restaurants in Minnesota. The company intends to rename its Minnesota Steakhouse restaurants as Timber Lodge Steakhouse restaurants in the near future. The Company's shareholders are expected to approve a reincorporation of the Company as Timber Lodge Steakhouse, Inc. a Minnesota corporation, at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held next Tuesday, May 16, 1995. The Company also operates one Q-Cumbers restaurant in Edina, Minn.
