Putnam, Knudsen & Wieking Acquires McPherson Business.


CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 24, 1996--J.R. McPherson has announced the transfer of his property and casualty clients to Putnam, Knudsen & Wieking Inc. Insurance Brokers, the property and casualty division of Anchor Pacific Underwriters Inc. in Concord.

"The ongoing servicing of my clients and friends is very important to me," stated McPherson, "and I could not have concluded a better transaction than to engage Putnam, Knudsen & Wieking as the succeeding brokerage to handle my clients." The acquisition of the McPherson book of business by PKW PKW Personenkraftwagen (German: passenger car)  was effective May 1.
