Pussycat manhunt; SEXY NIC CAN'T GET A DATE.

SINGLE stunner Nicole Scherzinger has revealed the only reason she's on her own is because guys are scared of her.

The super-sexy former Pussycat Doll says men are too shy to chat her up when she's out.

And the Hawaiian beauty rubbished rumours she is dating British Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton, 22.

The 29-year-old singer was linked with the boy racer when they were spotted partying together at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich last week.

But she says she has remained solo - offstage as well as on - since splitting from actor boyfriend Talan Torriero during the summer.

Nicole said: "I'mnot dating right now.

I'm single and it's hard because I've always been in a relationship all my life.

"And probably one of the hardest things in this industry is juggling relationships.

"That's probably one of the biggest sacrifices - relationships.

"If Mr Right comes along I would not be opposed to it. If Mr McDreamboat, as I like to call it, comes along, I would be open.

"I love a sense of a humour - someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and has fun with life.

"I really like that, and I really like creative boys and people who have soul."

But Nicole admitted she is just like fellow stunners Beyonce and Shakira - she never gets chatted up.

And that's just as well because she reveals she is very cautious of new people and extremely choosy.

She said: "I don't get approached really much. I get approached through other people because I think guys are maybe intimidated.

"I don't know if intimidated is right, I just work so much it's not like I'm really put out there enough for people to ask you out.

"With people in this industry, when you talk to Shakira or somebody and ask how do guys approach you? Who goes up to Beyonce?

"It's so different. I don't really get approached. It's hard in this business because you don't really go out much and you are really selective."

She added: "I think I have a good nose for reading people and it's just a select few people I would even give the time of day to. Like I said, it's hard because in the past several years and especially now I'm not really looking for something."

Nicole releases her debut solo album Her Name Is Nicole early next year and has worked with stars such as Will.i.Am, Ne-Yo, Sting and SnowPatrol's Gary Lightbody - because she wants her sound to be different from the Pussycat Dolls.

She said: "Everyone is always so used to seeing me as that girl from the Pussycat Dolls. They have no idea the other side. They don't know I did a song with Snow Patrol and a song with Sting.

"As soon as we finished the Pussycat Dolls album we went out on tour and I started working onmy own album behind the scenes. I've been working on it for the past two years.

"I think it's different when you are dealing with a group, a name, a brand, an image, as opposed to an individual artist and person.My sound is so different.

"I'd say the only similarity is the same vocalist. That's it."
