The per share amounts reflect the 2.7 to 1 common share consolidation which took place in 1997 at which time Pursuit completed a business combination with Aztec Aztec (ăz`tĕk'), Indian people dominating central Mexico at the time of the Spanish conquest. Cash flow for 1996 increased 120 percent to $5.5 million ($0.45 per share) from $2.5 million ($0.25 per share) in 1995. Earnings for 1996 increased by 97 percent to $1.3 million ($0.11 per share) from $0.7 million ($0.07 per share) in 1995. In early 1997, Pursuit completed a merger with Aztec Resources Ltd., effectively doubling the size of the Company.
