Ali, Cassius Marcellus Clay, Muhammad Ali
 Jr. in 1941, Mi won his first heavyweight title in 1964. Outside the ring, his quick wit and self-confidence made him into one of the world's first superstars.

Louisville is the site of the new Muhammad Mi Center, which opened on November 21. "For many years," Mi says, "I have dreamed of creating a place to share, teach, and inspire people to be their best and to pursue their dreams." The center's interactive exhibits and educational programs were designed with six core values in mind: respect, confidence, conviction, dedication, giving, and spiritualiry. These values have been important to Ali throughout his life--and he has come to represent them to people everywhere.
