PureDepth(TM) Hires Dan Evanicky as Chief Technology Officer; Leading Digital Display Expert and SGI Alumnus Will Oversee Evolution of State-of-the-Art Multi-Layer Display Technology.

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. -- PureDepth(TM), Inc. (OTCBB: PDEP), a global leader in next-generation display technologies and the pioneer of multi-layer display (MLD(TM)) technology, today announced the appointment of Dan Evanicky to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Evanicky held a number of senior management titles during nearly a decade at Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI), most recently as Principal Scientist. He owns or shares more than a score of patents covering numerous aspects of digital display technologies, and will supervise the PureDepth's ongoing development of the company's technology as it expands into new form factors and across a wide range of industrial, financial, medical and consumer applications.

Mr. Evanicky's impressive track record originated from the early development of LCD technology and includes senior design, engineering and IT positions related to digital displays with firms such as Texas Instruments, Exxon Enterprises, Greyhawk Systems, Unisys, and Momenta, Inc. He has also served as a senior consultant to numerous firms in the digital display industry, providing expert witness assistance in display-related patent issues as well as technical due diligence for several venture capital firms seeking to invest in U.S. and Asian display startups.

He is a member of the Society for Information Display and the Society of Photo-optical Instrumentation Engineers, and his writing has been featured in numerous society and trade journals and white papers.
