Purdue.


Purdue names Dr. Jay T. Akridge, James and Lois Ackerman Professor of Agricultural Economics and Dir of the Center for Food and Agricultural Business, as Interim Vice Provost of Engagement.

He will lead Purdue's efforts to use university resources to address economic development and other issues affecting the state's prosperity and quality of life. He will work directly with Indiana's leaders, the business community and citizens to find ways for Purdue to advance that mission.
