Pupils' stark message for drivers.

SCHOOL kids have laid down the law when it comes to selfish drivers who put their lives at risk.

Pupils and staff at Porth's Llwyncelyn Llwyncelyn (English: Hollybush) is a district of Porth, Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Consisting of five long terraces and two modern housing developments, Llwyncelyn is the home of two shops and a church, St. Luke's Church.
 Infants and Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llwyncelyn held a hard-hitting exercise to put the brakes on illegal parking outside their schools.

They laid down on the zig-zags and warning lines to get the message across to parents that they are putting children's lives at risk when they park on the out-of-bounds areas.

A new plan of action has been put in place, which will see the arrival of a new parking initiative.

She added: "Our concern is for the safety of all children who attend the school and, unfortunately, some parents feel it does not apply to them."

Special assemblies have been held, letters have been sent home and leaflets have been handed out to motorists outside the school gates.
