) and plain old telephone service (POTS) lines. It meets or exceeds the customer premises equipment See CPE.  (CPE) splitter specification ETSI 101 952-1-4 for both 135 and 150 ohms, the most rigorous and demanding splitter specification in Europe. In addition, the CP-404TJ meets the stringent specification for German complex impedances. Offering either RJ45 or RJ11 port connections, the CP-404TJ is clearly marked with three separate jacks -- for the incoming phone line, the post-split phone line and DSL line.

The ETSI-compliant splitter provides filtering for all telephones, fax machines, answering machines and other devices throughout the home, enabling them to operate on the same line being used for high-speed Internet connectivity. The function of the CP-404TJ is to separate the high-frequency xDSL signal from the lower-frequency ISDN or POTS signal. The splitter protects phone devices from data signals to enhance voice-band quality. It also isolates xDSL from phone equipment impedances for peak Internet performance. The splitter meets the ETSI specification over ADSL See DSL.

, ADSL2, ADSL2+ and VDSL.

The Excelsus CP-404TJ is a universal ISDN and POTS splitter that does not require a switch or jumpers to be configured by the installer for analog or digital telephone service. Designed for easy wall mount self-installation, the cost-effective CP-404TJ is CE marked and can be customized to meet specific marking requirements.

Excelsus DSL filters and splitters incorporate unique, industry-leading Z-BLOCKER(R) technology that demonstrates high performance voice and data characteristics with regard to insertion loss, return loss and stop-band isolation. In addition, the technology allows utilization of advanced manufacturing techniques that ensure low cost and high performance.
