Psychic as a parrot.

Byline: ANTHONY HARWOOD US Editor in New York

HE'S already being hailed as the world's brainiest parrot.

Now experts believe N'kisi the talking African Grey may also be PSYCHIC.

Owner Aimee Morgana called in scientists after claiming her six-year-old pet could read her thoughts.

They put N'kisi to the test - and of 71 photos shown only to Aimee, he correctly squawked out what was in 23 of them. N'kisi - featured in BBC Wildife Magazine - has an amazing 950-word vocabulary... and a wicked sense of humour.

He once saw another parrot hanging upside down from its perch, and screeched: "You gotta get this bird on camera!"

Aimee, a New York-based artist, says: "He really cracks me up."
