Designed to work in tough environments, Psion Teklogix' 8255 vehicle-mount computer has an IP rating of 66 and can operate in dusty and wet conditions. In addition, the 8255 vehicle-mount computer runs a truck messaging application that increases truck turn around time.

Using Psion Teklogix' 7030 hand-held computers, port workers can accurately manage yard inventory and update Chennai Container Terminal's database in real time. With an IP rating of 64, the 7030 hand-held computer can withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters on to concrete and can operate in dusty, wet and condensing con·dense
