Prumerica Systems Ireland Establishes Internship With Letterkenny Institute of Technology.

LETTERKENNY, Ireland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2000

Prumerica Systems Ireland Limited, the newly created off-shore programming and technology development subsidiary of The Prudential Insurance Company of America, announced today that it is establishing an intern intern /in·tern/ (in´tern) a medical graduate serving in a hospital preparatory to being licensed to practice medicine.

The student selected to fill the internship position for the first time is Noelle McDaid, who was chosen from a group of students who have achieved a merit grade in their Diploma in Computing. Her studies include a concentration on JAVA and a strong interest in software development.

Paul Carmody, managing director and head of Prumerica Systems Ireland, said, "We were very impressed by Noelle's credentials. She has demonstrated considerable initiative and dedication to her studies and we believe she will have a great deal to offer Prumerica. Conversely, we believe the work she contributes to her team will be beneficial to her as she complete her course work for her B.Sc. degree in Computing."

McDaid will work up to ten hours a week with Prumerica on a project team that uses the same JAVA client server skills that she has developed over the last few years. "I am really looking forward to working with Prumerica Systems Ireland. My job with Prumerica Systems will be of great help to me as I finalize my studies," said McDaid.
