Prudential aids our soldiers.

Prudential Holmes & Kennedy Real Estate is reaching out to the Westchester community, asking for support for the "My Soldier" program. Created by Juan Salas, an active U.S. army sergeant who is also a Manhattanville student, the "My Soldier" program links members of the community with soldiers overseas.

Prudential Holmes & Kennedy's Armonk office is helping coordinate the effort and has "starter kits" available.

The kits include: the soldier's name, guidelines for letter writing and care package presentation, a red "My Soldier" bracelet and a specially designed "My Soldier" baseball hat that can be included with the first letter sent to the deployed United States armed serviceperson.

"What better way to bring together the community for a worthy cause," said Jaimme Pudalov, program coordinator for Prudential Holmes & Kennedy's Armonk office.

"We hope our friends open their hearts and recognize the role they can play in keeping morale up for our soldiers during this difficult holiday season and into the New Year."
