The special event was attended by a number of Prudential Douglas Elliman executives.

Tortes became the lucky winner after attending a neighbor's Open House, one of several hundred hosted by Prudential Douglas Elliman on Long Island from July 13 to August 15.

To qualify for the special promotion, participants had to register at any Open House organized by the firm's offices.

No home purchase was necessary to win the contest.

Torres' name was drawn' at the firm's monthly manager's meeting on August 20.
