Provincial policemen awarded commendation medals by President.

PESHAWAR, September 03, 2009 (Balochistan Times): President of Pakistan has awarded Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal (QPM) and President Police Medal (PPM) to 22 police officers and personnel of NWFP Police Force this year on 14th August. Chief Security Officer to NWFP Chief Minister Dr. Mazhar -ul- Haq Kakakhel was also among recipients of Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal (QPM), as it is pertinent to note that he has been given this award as District Police Officer Swat, while 17 police officers and personnel have been given the award after embracing martyrdom. A notification issued from Federal Interior Ministry, has conferred Award of Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal (QPM) obtained after embracing martyrdom included; Constable Shabir Ullah, ASP Mardan Mohammad Pervez Imrani, ASI Swat Noor Farman, Head Constable Nowshera Malik Jan, Inspector Fazal Hanan, Musharraf Khan, Zahid Ali, ASI Mohammad Uzair Ullah, Head Constable Inayat Ullah, Driver Constable Mohammad Nazir, Constable Adam Khan, Head Constable Gul Syed and DPO Lower Dir Mumtaz Zarin. Those who have been awarded President Police Medal (PPM) after embracing martyrdom included; Mohammad Tariq, Sher Nawaz, Akhtar Zada, Adeel Ali, Mohammad Alam and Mohammad Arif.
