Proud of Sister Namibia magazine.

I am a reader of Sister Namibia Namibia (nämĭb`ēə), officially Republic of Namibia, republic (2005 est. pop. 2,031,000), c.318,000 sq mi (823,620 sq km), SW Africa.  and I'm I'm

Contraction of I am.

Our Living Language Speakers of some scattered varieties of American English sometimes use I'm instead of I've or I have in present perfect constructions, as in

, just like South Africa South Africa, Afrikaans Suid-Afrika, officially Republic of South Africa, republic (2005 est. pop. 44,344,000), 471,442 sq mi (1,221,037 sq km), S Africa. . Sometimes I forget to buy the magazine and even if it's not the latest one, I just read it to keep myself updated. Last year I was touched by your October issue, Volume 17 # 3. Oh, it was so good and I've really enjoyed it very much but I have a few questions that I need to ask based on pages 30 and 31.

I am living in the North, and on top of the page it says New Books in the Sister Namibia Resource Centre. So now here in the North, where do I get hold of these books because I would really like to read them? The titles are: Tommy boys, lesbian men and ancestral ANCESTRAL. What relates to or has, been done by one's ancestors; as homage ancestral, and the like.  wives--Female same-sex practices in Africa; and Balancing Act: South African gay and lesbian youth speak out.

Please let me know where I could get hold of these books.

Dear Wilhelmina

Thank you for your encouraging letter. If you let us know which libraries you use in the North, perhaps we can arrange to send a box of materials from our Resource Centre to add to their collection. Or do you know any NGOs that have a resource centre and lend out materials? That could be another way to make the books accessible to our readers in the North. We look forward to hearing from you again.
