Protexis Provides Licensing and E-commerce Solution for Broderbund.

Protexis is providing Broderbund trial technology for titles such as The Print Shop(R), PrintMaster(R), Kid Pix Kid Pix is a bitmap drawing program aimed at children. Originally created by Craig Hickman, it was first released for the Macintosh in 1989 and subsequently published in 1991 by Brøderbund. (R), Calendar Creator(TM), and Mavis Beacon(R), allowing Broderbund customers to download various products and try them for a set period of time, before making a purchase. This is the first time Broderbund has offered its products in a trial format.

This, combined with the wide variety of licensing configurations available, allows Riverdeep to add registration, trial, licensing and e-commerce as needed as needed prn.
