International conference in Lake District aims to tackle key challenges facing lakes: 18-21 May 2009 Low Wood Hotel, Lake Windermere, Cumbria Coordinates: Windermere is a town in Cumbria, England, in the historic county of Westmorland. It lies about one kilometre away from the lake of the same name.
Jointly hosted by the Environment Agency and the Lake District National Park this conference brings together senior decision makers and opinion formers from all over the world. The event is aimed at anyone who cares passionately about the impact people have on lake environments through their work and daily lives.
