A synthetic object that resembles a missing anatomical part.

 system that provides a smarter way for hospitals and surgery centers to handle the acquisition of implants. Prostheses can be put into hospitals and surgery centers on a consignment basis and be billed for only as they are replaced. The OR procurement person can either e-mail or fax an order for what has been used. Replacement parts can be express-shipped back to the facility in the quickest and most economical way.
