Proposed expansion garners single bid.


The Rogers, Ark., Tri-County Solid Waste District, Rogers, received a single bid for its plan to expand the recycling recycling, the process of recovering and reusing waste products—from household use, manufacturing, agriculture, and business—and thereby reducing their burden on the environment.  collection program in a three county area of Northwestern Arkansas. The waste district sought companies that could help the municipalities in the region boost their recyclables collection levels.

Parker says, one of the drawbacks to the RAA proposal is that the company's current facility is not centrally located. As part of RAA's proposal, the company said it would expand its existing facility in Rogers, allowing it to take in more material.
