Property trio join forces.

THREE of the best known names in the Midland retail property sector have joined forces to establish their own consultancy practice.

Guy Webber and Nick De-Pons, the former award-winning retail team at the Birmingham office of Jones Lang LaSalle, have teamed up with Richard Bidwell, former head of Colliers CRE's retail team in the Midlands, to set up Bidwell Webber De-Pons.

The new practice is based at One Victoria Square and will focus on the retail development and leasing market.

Between them, the trio have amassed more than 50 years' experience acting for major High Street retail brands including Argos, Borders Books & Music, Dixon, French Connection, Next, Starbucks, TK Maxx and Virgin.

In addition to being a European director of Jones Lang LaSalle's retail group, Guy Webber also ran the firm's Birmingham office from 2003, during which time turnover nearly trebled.

He said: "I've had 20 fantastic years with Jones Lang LaSalle."
