, Lafayette, NJ, has entered into an agreement to license crosslinked butyl rubber butyl rubber: see rubber.  technology from Lanxess, Sarnia, Ontario Sarnia is a city in Southwestern Ontario, Canada (city population 71,419, census area population 88,793, in 2006). It is the largest city on Lake Huron and is located where the three upper Great Lakes empty into the St. Clair River. , Canada. Details of the agreement were not disclosed. Lanxess discontinued the commercial production of its Butyl butyl /bu·tyl/ (bu´t'l) a hydrocarbon radical, C4H9.

 XL 10000 product line last year. Demand continues for these products, used in the manufacture of adhesives, sealants and molded rubber. Initial commercial production for customer evaluations has already been completed, with full production scheduled for the second quarter of 2006. Prometheus will manufacture and market these new products through Titan Technologies, LLC, a newly formed entity.
