Promero, a Pompano Beach, Fla.-based firm, has released Version 2.0 of its integrated eCommerce solution, Envisient. Envisient is a product suite comprised of online storefront management, customer relationship management (CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization. ) and automatic call distribution (ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) A computerized phone system that responds to the caller with a voice menu and connects the call to the appropriate agent. It allows customers to maintain multiple storefronts with features such as transaction processing, reporting, simple browser-based authoring and management tools, utilizing wizards and templates.

Envisient integrates communications, e-commerce and customer activities. Enhancements in Envisient 2.0 include the ability to track activities occurring in the online storefront and to store this information in the (CRM) module in real time, allowing clients to maintain up-to-the-minute records on a customer's search and buying habits.
