IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) Gallery of Science and Art from May 23 to June 3, was a spectacular exhibit of some 92 pieces by 23 artists with multiple sclerosis. Works ranged from the delicate images of Diana Lucas-Hindes executed in the style of Japanese hang a wood cuts to Thomas Hollender's massive mixed media creations which remind you of chunks of asphalt ripped from city streets. The two-week exhibit, acclaimed for its professionalism and seen by about 20,000 visitors, opened with a private gala reception on May 22. Some 500 guests and all 23 exhibiting artists were present. It was an auspicious beginning to what we hope will be a most auspicious year of touring.
