Kids Cancer Connection Family House Receives Thermal Envelope

CHATSWORTH, Calif. -- When the Insulation Contractors Association of America recently emailed members in the Los Angeles area for help in providing the thermal envelope insulation for the Family House of the Kids Cancer Connection (KCC) in the San Fernando Valley, Steve Anderson, President, of Progressive Insulation & Windows ("Progressive") and Bob Haupert of Johns Manville, responded within hours with a plan to underwrite the project.

Progressive's demonstration of generosity and compassion to KCC in helping to insulate the Family House, a facility for temporary housing at no cost to out-of-area families with children undergoing cancer treatment in the Los Angeles area, is a demonstration of a highly held company value that recognizes the significance of all people, whether customers or simply those in need.

Another evidence of a consistent orientation that considers the worth of people is the strong referral base that buoys Progressive even during troubled market condition waters. At a recent sales meeting, Mr. Anderson announced an aggressive pursuit of referrals as one new goal for Progressive for 2007. With current referral levels well over 70%, Progressive seeks to obtain and retain customers who are not merely satisfied, but who are loyal as measured by the referrals they give.

When asked how to develop loyalty in an already satisfied customer base, Mr. Anderson said, "The simplest way to transform a satisfied customer into a loyal customer is to communicate with kindness and to be considerate of the person you call customer."
