) today announced it has signed a national marketing agreement with Tower America to market space on Clear Channel's more than 1,250 radio and television antennas in the United States to the telecommunications industry.

The arrangement supplements an agreement the companies announced in May of this year for Tower America to market space for telecommunications antennas positioned on Clear Channel's U.S. outdoor properties, according to William Suffa, Senior Vice President, Capital Management for Clear Channel.

The move comes as consumer demand for digital, wireless and emerging 3G technologies presses telecommunications companies to expand their coverage footprint and to establish an even broader network of antennas. Clear Channel's radio, television and outdoor properties in the U.S. are strategically located throughout most major and secondary markets.

"Telecommunications companies now require a much denser infrastructure of antennas to best serve their customers," explained Rick Edwards, president of Tower America. "The ability to piggyback onto Clear Channel's substantial network of broadcast towers, along with the billboard structures, gives these companies immediate access to sites they need at a substantially lower cost."

"The agreement with Tower America enhances Clear Channel's value by maximizing the return we derive from our assets," adds Suffa. "This can represent a tremendous new revenue stream for the Company that we can develop at minimal cost. Our existing U.S. properties are perfectly situated throughout most markets and will provide a significant and immediate benefit to the telecommunications industry."

The agreement is effective immediately.
