Professional Farm Manager of the Year announced. (FYI News & Notes).


Jim and Mary Rickert of Western Agricultural Services, Fall River Mills, Calif., were selected as the 2002 Professional Farm Manager of the Year. The award is sponsored by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and Syngenta Crop Protection, Greensboro, N.C. The couple manages agricultural enterprises on 16 farm and ranch ranch, large farm devoted chiefly to raising and breeding cattle, horses, sheep, and goats.
