Since she founded Tri-Coast Internationa Inc. in 1985, the Alabama-based video distribution company has grown to a multi-million dollar, 30-employee operation. Malugan, now in her 30's, has earned two masters degrees -- one in directing and one in acting -- but had no business experience when she opened Tri-Coast. She claims to have taken a lot of chances.
