Product of the Year ... (For Openers).


Innovation is still alive and strong in agriculture. New technology has reinvented traditional ways of doing things. Some technology has taken agriculture into new areas altogether, such as bio-based fuels, new methods to ensure food safety through traceability and processing, and value-added val·ue-add·ed
adj.
Of or relating to the estimated value that is added to a product or material at each stage of its manufacture or distribution:
 crops. And because of the nature of an industry that is realizing unprecedented structural changes, opportunities surface and new products are created by companies and individuals.

We are reintroducing our Annual Product of the Year award. We are seeking products that are making news today and will be recognized for years to come for making an impact in the marketplace. Nominations will be due by May 30, 2003. Nomination NOMINATION, This word has several significations. 1. An appointment; as, I nominate A B, executor of this my last will. 2.
