Product RecallsThe following recalls have been announced: _About 100,000 Graco Contempo highchairs, manufactured by Graco Children's Products Inc., because the chairs can collapse if not fully opened and locked. The company has received 18 reports of highchairs collapsing. The chairs have an "A" frame design with six height adjustments and three recline positions. The recalled chairs have the following model numbers: 3800COU, 3800DRB, 3800FMT, 3800GGG, 3800GRM, 3800HEM, 3800JEN, 3800LEG, 3800MNS, 3800OWD, 3800SND, 3800TFE, 3800RIT, 3803HRL, 3804CNR, 3805BDA, 3810PEW, 3810PST and 3811PST. The chairs were sold at Babies "R" Us, Toys "R" Us, Target, Target.com, Wal-Mart, Wal-Mart.com, Burlington Coat Factory, Shopko, AAFES, USA Baby and specialty retailers around the country from December 2005 to December 2006. For more information visit http://www.cpsc.gov. _About 460,000 plush animal baby rattles and picture frames, manufactured by Target Corp., because small pieces can break off and pose a choking hazard. Also, the plastic ring on some of the rattles can break and expose sharp pieces. Target has received 11 reports of small parts detaching from the rattles and frames. The rattles and frames feature either a bear dressed in pink or a moose dressed in green. Some rattles have full-bodied stuffed animals with rattles inside. Others are just a plush bear or moose head attached to a plastic ring. The frames consist of the bear or moose holding a small heart-shaped or square picture frame. The rattles and frames were sold at Target stores around the country between November and December 2006. Return them to a Target store for a gift card of the equivalent value, plus applicable sales tax. Multiple swallowed magnets can attract each other and cause intestinal perforation or blockage. The company has received one report of a magnet coming loose. All MagneBlocks construction kits are included in the recall. The kits contain six or more plastic building pieces of various colors shaped as cubes and three-, four- and five-sided pyramids. The pieces have MagneBlocks imprinted on them. The kits also contain six or more steel balls, and some kits include steel rods. The kits were sold online and at toy, arts and crafts and discount department stores around the country between January 2004 and November 2006. If a magnet comes out of one of the blocks, send it to the distributor for a free replacement block. Contact the company at 866-775-0265. The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that children under six should not play with toys that contain magnets. Inc., because the jewelry contains high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by children. An additional 29,000 necklaces were recalled in December of last year. The necklaces have multicolored pendants shaped like butterflies which hang from a black cord. The packaging has "Butterfly Necklace" written on the front and item number JA298 written on the back. The necklaces were sold online and at U.S. Toy Co. stores and other children's and discount stores around the country between August and December 2006. No illnesses have been reported. The products were sold by independent consultants between Feb. 6, 2006, and Jan. 16, 2007.
