Product Diversification Points Incal Technology to the Electronic Test Systems Fast-Track.

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 1999--In a trio of recent expansion moves, burn-in specialist, Incal Technology, Inc. has added two significant products to its portfolio and greatly expanded its penetration into the Asian market.

Fueled by the acquisition of manufacturing assets and licensing rights, as well intellectual property rights for Hewlett-Packard's 947X product line, the company has thrust itself into the power/analog segment of the ATE business.

Concurrently, the company has acquired Manipulators International, a local manufacturer of test head manipulators. In addition, Incal has reached an agreement with Trio-Tech International for the integration of Incal burn-in technology into Trio-Tech systems and the appointment of Trio-Tech as the exclusive distributor in Asia for the entire Incal burn-in product line.

"All of these recent moves were aimed at diversifying our product offerings, and growing our company, to serve a larger spectrum of the semiconductor test equipment market," said Cary Caywood, president of Incal.
