Producer's group reveals ethanol plans.

Blue Sky BioEnergy Ltd. is pleased to announce their intention to begin public information meetings relating to the construction of a 40 million-litre ethanol facility in east central Saskatchewan.

The board of directors of Blue Sky BioEnergy Ltd. has been meeting for over a year to prepare a business model designed to bring ethanol production to the east central Saskatchewan region and to support sustainability in farming for this region. The group's discussions have centred upon the viability of the industry, the size of plant suited for the area, the market potential, and the best operating format for the proposed facility. The result has been a unique business model that advances the company's goals.

Blue Sky BioEnergy Ltd. will be a producer-owned and controlled organization committed to producer participation in the value chain. It will be structured to promote the sustainability of agriculture in Saskatchewan and to support farming as a viable way of life in this region.

Blue Sky BioEnergy Ltd. is a member of the Saskatchewan Ethanol Development Council and supports its objectives. They fully participate in the development of a "Made in Saskatchewan" approach to the biofuels industry and the creation of a technical template for ethanol production.
