) Association, the CPFR guidelines define processes and best practices for establishing and implementing collaborative relationships among trading partners. CPFR represents the next logical step in the development of highly efficient collaborative trading networks.

Through Syncra Systems' Internet-based CPFR applications and technology, Procter & Gamble will share forecast and planning information with its major suppliers, distributors and retail trading partners. Through this increased visibility and sharing of forecasts and plans with its trading partners, Procter & Gamble will better identify, understand, and address forecast and planning exceptions. With this knowledge the company is better able to align supply with demand to reduce inventory while increasing service levels.

Terms of the agreement and deployment timeframes were not disclosed.
