Procom Expands Enterprise Storage Networking Group to Further Service Fortune 1000 and Government Accounts.

SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--Procom Technology Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS:PRCM) Tuesday announced an aggressive expansion of its Enterprise Storage Networking Group (ESNG) to better serve its existing Fortune 1000 and government accounts, as well as to pursue new market opportunities.

During the past four months, Procom has opened five new ESNG field offices staffed with sales and service personnel in Tampa, Fla.; Atlanta; San Jose and Irvine, Calif.; and Washington, D.C. Over the next several months, Procom plans to open additional offices in Detroit; Seattle; Houston; and Raleigh, N.C.

Procom's Enterprise Storage Networking Group focuses on selling enterprise-class storage products to Fortune 1000 accounts in the United States and Canada. Prior to the expansion, ESNG consisted of a staff of 30, working out of eight regional offices. With the recent expansion, the division now has 40 highly trained sales and support personnel in 13 regional offices in major cities throughout the United States.
