Process additive.

WS 280 Paste is said to be a new concept in processing additives based on organosilicones which in many applications show superior performance compared to conventional products, according to according to

the company. These organosilicones are said to be highly compatible with rubber compounds. This enables utilization of the highly efficient lubrication lubrication, introduction of a substance between the contact surfaces of moving parts to reduce friction and to dissipate heat. A lubricant may be oil, grease, graphite, or any substance—gas, liquid, semisolid, or solid—that permits free action of  effects of silicone without exsudation or bloom. Limited compatibility can occasionally be observed with compounds having a low filler fill·er 1
n.
One that fills, as:
a. Something added to augment weight or size or fill space.

b. A composition, especially a semisolid that hardens on drying, used to fill pores, cracks, or holes in wood, plaster,
content and/or a very high crosslink density. WS 280 Paste is said to improve flow properties and release behavior in the processing of rubber, as well as mold release of vulcanizates. WS 280 Paste is said to have an extremely low volatility at high temperatures and is said to be particularly suitable for FPM FPM - Fast Page Mode Dynamic Random Access Memory  compounds. It is said to give excellent release properties on mixing machinery, exceptionally good flow properties and reduces mold fouling, according to the company. It is said to be excellent for injection molding injection molding
n.
A manufacturing process for forming objects, as of plastic or metal, by heating the molding material to a fluid state and injecting it into a mold.
