Privatisation Of DEPA Attracts Significant Interest From International Energy Companies.

The Greek government announced yesterday that eleven companies submitted expressions of interest to participate in the sale of up to 35% of the Public Gas Corporation of Greece (DEPA DEPA Danish Environmental Protection Agency
DEPA Distributed Enhanced Processing Architecture
DEPA Defense Electric Power Administration (US Department of Energy; 1950-53)
DEPA Dynamic Elastic Properties Analyzer
).

The majority of parties that expressed an interest are leading European gas companies, ENI, Gas Natural, Gaz de France Gaz de France (GDF) is a French company which produces, transports and sells natural gas around the world and especially in France which is its main market, but also Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany and other European countries. , Gazprom and Ruhrgas. The other parties are the largest European power company, EdF, Italian power companies Enel and Edison, the international oil companies TotalFinaElf and Sonatrach and Greek gas company, Prometheus Gas Prometheus Gas S.A. is a Greek – Russian joint company, established in 1991 in Athens. The Russian natural gas export company Gazprom Export, on behalf of Gazprom, holds the 50% of the shares. Mr. Dimitrios Ch. .

Earlier this month, the Greek government formally launched the privatisation process with the publication of an invitation to express an interest in the acquisition of up to 35% in DEPA with a deadline of 6pm on Monday 30 September.
