Private-Equity Legends to Speak at 10th Anniversary of Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst Conference; Industry Leaders Also Being Inducted into the Private Equity Hall of Fame.

Prior to forming TPG in 1991, Mr. Bonderman was Chief Operating Officer of the Robert M. Bass Group, Inc. (now doing business as Keystone, Inc.
, principal, partner and founder of Texas Pacific Group, an investment firm with $13 billion under management that is well known for its success in resuscitating companies; Peter Dolan, director of private equity at the Harvard Management Company Harvard Management Company (HMC) is an investment arm of the Harvard University's Endowment Fund. HMC currently manages the $34.9 billion Harvard University endowment [1], the largest endowment in higher education [2] , the investment arm of the university, which manages a $19.3 billion endowment; and New Enterprise Associates, a premier venture-capital firm with more than 25 years experience and $6 billion under management.

The Private Equity Hall of Fame was established in 1994 to honor individuals and organizations that made exemplary and enduring contributions to the private-equity community. All told, a total of 41 individuals and firms have been honored, noted David Barry, a vice president of Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst. Previous inductees include Gen. Georges Doriot, Thomas H. Lee, Alan Patricof, The Blackstone Group, Greylock, Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers, and Yale University.

The inductees will be honored at a special ceremony on the first day of the conference. Later that day, Mr. McNamee will be featured at a candid and informative private-equity interview session. Mr. McNamee, who followed up an impressive career at T. Rowe Price T.
